Ready to Renovate? Book with Monarch and Get the Kitchen You Want in Time for Fall!

After a winter spent indoors, you may be ready to say goodbye to your drab, outdated kitchen and ready to embrace a brighter, more efficient living space.

No matter how well you plan for the disruption of a major kitchen renovation, there's nothing that quite prepares you for the daily inconvenience of preparing meals and doing dishes in a temporary kitchen. As the heart of the home, your kitchen is more than a place prepare and eat meals; it's the central gathering place for most families.

Renovating your kitchen during the summer months has its advantages:

You can go on vacation.
If you have young children, it's often easier to leave for a week at the cottage or an extended road trip once they are out of school. You may not be able to avoid living at home during the entire period of upheaval, but you can reduce the amount of stress your family feels by planning to be away during some of the "messier" periods of your renovation.

Weather permitting...you can eat in your outdoor kitchen!
Polish up the patio set, turn on the portable CD player, set the table and VOILA! You've got yourself a temporary kitchen away from the dust and mess of your kitchen renovation.

You can barbecue more and eat take-out less.
Eating at restaurants and bringing take-out food home is not only expensive, it can be tiresome, as well. Fortunately, the Internet offers seemingly endless creative ways to use your barbecue to grill meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables.

You can breathe easier!
With any renovation, there will be dust. Sure, you can close off rooms, shut all the doors...but the dust will follow you everywhere―except outside. Grab a book, your laptop or a deck of cards and head outside for a breath of fresh air.

You can clean less -- nice weather means less mess!
From the time tear down begins to the moment you sit back and enjoy your new kitchen, there is an enormous amount of traffic in and out of your home. When renovating during the summer months, you reduce the amount of dirt tracked through your house. And with any major renovation, a table saw is often a contractor’s best friend. During the warmer months, the saw won’t need to be set up in your garage, porch or basement. That means less dust floating around your home.

Are you considering a kitchen renovation? Monarch has been making homeowner's kitchen renovation dreams a reality for over 30 years. Drop by our showroom or call us at 905-686-2001 to book a consultation with one of our kitchen designers. But hurry, Monarch’s summer schedule is booking up!

Happy Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre Clients Can Be Found Across the GTA and Beyond

Many thanks to our loyal clients who have recently posted their reviews of Monarch Kitchen & Bath Centre on Homestars.com:

Lisa from Old Toronto, posted May 8, 2013
We gutted our house in January 2011. We used Monarch to design and install new cabinets in our house. Marion did the design for the kitchen. She is so creative and talented as a designer. Marion helped transform our small, enclosed kitchen into an open bright space with more cabinet space than we can use. The kitchen was installed on time. We had an issue with the crown moulding falling down. Both times we contacted Monarch they were quick to respond to and correct the problem. I was impressed because the last time we had a problem with the moulding Neal replaced all of our moulding with brand new moulding, no questions asked. Our kitchen is beautiful.

Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre did an excellent job installing our kitchen. Our designer Marion was extremely helpful and provided great advice when selecting the products for our kitchen. Staff were very professional and dealt with any concerns we had both during the design process and installation. I would highly recommend Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre to anyone considering a renovation.

We hired Monarch, on the recommendation of our builder Integrity Construction, to do our new cottage kitchen in Bobcaygeon. They offer a full service. going beyond kitchen design. They helped me create my dream kitchen incorporating all of my wants, and unique design features. Integrity and Monarch worked very well together as a team to turn our dream into a reality. I found the Monarch team very professional, detailed, and organized. It was a pleasure working with my designer Sarah, wholistened very carefully. Neil the owner of Monarch took a “hands on” approach to our project and was always available for site meetings and any questions that we had. The team at Monarch delivered an absolutely gorgeous kitchen. I would highly recommend Monarch to anyone. Thank you to the Monarch Team.

We have dealt with Monarch Kitchen for over a decade now, first with a total kitchen reno and more recently, an ensuite bathroom reno. Neil Samson is wonderful to deal with and is very customer focused. After almost 3 years, I was having difficulty with the top vanity drawer and so I called Monarch to ask for a service call. Neil came over personally and when he saw how the drawer mechanisms were working, he wasn't satisfied and decided to have 4 new drawers built and replaced no-charge. Needless to say, I was delighted! I would recommend Monarch not only for its product lines and cost competitiveness, but also for it's 5 star customer satisfaction policy.

Kevin Samson and his team at Monarch helped us to give our kitchen a wonderful update. The backsplash, quartz countertop and new sink/faucet are great updates to our home. They did a great job coordinating the makeover.

Moen Home Care Products Make Home Safety Stylish

Sacrificing the beauty of your home is no longer a necessity when you’re looking after others or taking care of yourself.
Moen’s Home Care line includes a variety of products designed to make home safety easier without sacrificing style.

Monarch designers often design spaces for individuals choosing to stay in their homes well after retirement, or “age in place.” Special considerations like hand grips and grab bars in shower bathrooms can make life easier, but homeowners often put off installing them because of their sterile, institutional feel.

Thanks to Moen, this is not the case. “Moen has many products that not only enhance the safety of your home, but they are stylish too,” says Monarch designer Amanda Willson-Suppa. “You no longer have to sacrifice your stylish bathroom for added safety features.”

GE Introduces Hot Water at the Touch of a Button!

“Like most guys, I love gadgets and toys,” says Monarch designer Kevin Samson. “But truly useful gadgets and toys are even better.”

The GE CaféTM Series French Door Refrigerator with Hot Water Dispenser puts hot water right at your fingertips, allowing you to make hot drinks and prepare hot foods easier than ever before.

No More Waiting For Water to Boil
The in-the-door hot water dispenser makes it easy for you to pour hot, filtered water in minutes. With four pre-programmed settings for the most common food and drinks, hot water is dispensed at a perfectly accurate temperature every time.

Safe and Simple to Use
Simply select your temperature setting, then use the knob to dispense up to 10 ounces of perfectly heated water. Plus, water is purified through the only refrigeration filter tested and verified to remove 98% of five trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice, offering added peace of mind for your family.

"Just when you think you’ve seen it all…now we can get hot water at the touch of a button,” adds Kevin. “It’s magic. I love it!”
